Marketing Communications Manger

Act-On is looking for a results-driven Marketing Communications Manager to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for managing brand messaging and identity, ensuring all brand promotions, advertisements, and public relations efforts are consistent and compelling.
The Marketing Communications Manager will conceptualize, create, implement, and optimize programs that enhance the company's visibility and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. This role requires cross-team and organizational collaboration, excellent communications, and a passion for developing, iterating on, and scaling integrated brand initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Demand Generation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute brand awareness initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Oversees the production of marketing collateral, including press releases, brochures, newsletters, website copy, and social media content. Ensure all external and internal messaging reflect a unified brand identity and voice.
  • Public Relations (PR): Acts as the point of contact for the media, managing public relations programs and shaping the company's narrative.
  • Social Media:  Manage key brand awareness channels, including social and third party review sites
  • Analytics & Optimization: Track the performance and Return on Investment (ROI) of brand level marketing programs, adjusting strategies based on data. Analyze content performance to identify which topics, formats, channels, and messaging strategies drive the highest audience engagement and business impact
  • Vendor Management: Coordinates with cross-functional teams (such as designers and copywriters) and external agencies to produce engaging materials.
  • Manage customer review/advocacy programs including developing customer evidence assets such as case studies, interviews, videos, etc. 

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of marketing communications, brand management, or related SaaS marketing experience.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and enhancing brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into high-impact content and messaging.
  • Exceptional written storytelling capabilities, including experience with public relations and media partner management.
  • Strong project management and operational skills to manage multiple initiatives and external contractors simultaneously.
  • Positive, high-energy, team-focused attitude.

What You Need to Know/Bring:

  • Marketing Automation platforms such as Act-On, Marketo, HubSpot, or Eloqua.
  • Salesforce—familiarity with lead management tracking and campaign reporting.
  • Experience managing content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.

Compensation:  
The anticipated compensation for this position will be $100,000 - $115,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on a combination of factors, including the selected candidate’s skills, experience as well as internal and external equity.
